TV Box Firmware Updates: OTA, USB and Cable Flashing

Firmware updates keep a box good for years — but the wrong method bricks it.

Three channels

OTA: safest for routine updates; check battery-free prerequisites: storage, network, power stability;
USB force-flash: the rescue path for a broken system — official image, exact filename, reset button boot;
USB cable flashing: last resort for hard bricks, needs shorting/Recovery — not for casual users.

Official firmware only; mystery “optimization packs” are the top brick cause;
Back up app data before major versions;
Try USB force-flash before cable flashing.
